Holy Family Services, Marayong

In 1980, Brother Albert's Home was opened in response to the need of the ageing Polish Catholic community in Sydney. In later years, the home expanded to accommodate people who were still capable of living independently. Holy Family Services is comprised of an aged care facility, retirement village and out-of-school-hours care and is a Registered Training Organisation.
It is the sponsored ministry of our Holy Spirit Province.
Our Sisters minister at Holy Family Services in nursing, pastoral care, mission direction, and on the organisational Board of Directors.

For more information, visit the Holy Family Services website.

Ministry to the Polish Community

Our Sisters are responsible for the care of Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish War Memorial Chapel in Marayong. We also offer pastoral support to elderly community members living at home, and are involved in the education of children in language and culture through Polish Saturday school.

Diocesan Ministry

Our ministry in the Diocese of Parramatta is vibrant and varied!

One sister offers pastoral support to patients, families and staff as a hospital chaplain at Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals. One Sister ministers as a school psychologist with Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese. One Sister works in parish sacramental formation at Quakers Hill Parish. One Sister preserves our historical information and treasures in our Provincial Archives.

Our ministry in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle responds to the needs of families in the parishes at schools.

Our Sisters serve little children, engage with youth and help those discerning their life vocation.

There are present and attentive to the needs of families both in the educational and pastoral capacity.

Since the 1960s, the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth have lived and ministered in Perth. Today, three of our Sisters continue this tradition.

They presence within the school community of Our Lady of Grace, North Beach, and the local parish is a response to the needs of families in the area. One Sister works as a nurse in Hollywood Private Hospital, Nedlands, while also volunteering with Shopfront, an agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, which provides assistance to people who are living in difficulty.
